Charles Edward Miller, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was called to his Heavenly home on October 2, 2025, at the age of 76. He was born on July 5, 1949. Affectionately known as "Bubba" and "Railroad Charlie" by friends and family.
Charles, an avid outdoorsman enjoyed hunting and fishing. On fall Saturday's the echo's of Roll Tide could be heard all around as he loved Alabama and College sports.
Charlie retired from Norfolk Southern in 2008 and loved his railroad brothers. Called to serve his country during Vietnam War with honor and respect. We should hope and pray to be so blessed to live life and pass on with the free will God gives us.
Preceded in death by his parents Rebeca and Buford Miller, and his wife Jane Powell Miller.
He is survived by, his son, Clint Miller; and family, Ann Bean, Jean Hanby, and Joyce Amick.
Pallbearers are Robert Turner, Johnny Turner, Johnny Ryan, and Clint Miller.
A graveside service is scheduled at Williamson Memorial Cemetery, 2695 5th Street, Northport, AL, 35476, on October 7, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
