Danny C. Anderson, age 79, of Northport, Alabama passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services for Danny will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 in Memory Hill Gardens with Pastor Anderson Walker officiating. The family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m prior to services at Memory Chapel Funeral Home.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Maggie and Rollie Anderson; sister, Anita Collins; and his first wife, Ellen Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Miranda Skelton Anderson; sons, Curt Anderson (Bonita) and Wray Anderson (Beth); step-daughters, Shana Butts (Mike) and Rona Cunningham; brothers, Brad Anderson (Denise) and Ron Anderson (Sandy); grandchildren, Ty Anderson, Jon Anderson, Drew Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Victoria Anderson, Ethan Anderson, Holley Kelly, Steven Dover, Lauren Pope, Brittney Bryant, and Wayne Cunningham; and great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Emma, Colt, Xander, Miranda, and Evelyn.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are Mike Miriam, Jimmy Montgomery, Doug Dailey, Johnny Jones, Tannehill Wood Carvers Club, and friends and neighbors of Windsong.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Danny's memory to Hospice of West Alabama.
