A celebration of life will occur Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405. A committal service will occur Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
Douglas is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carol Edmonds; parents, Ola Curtis and Myrtle Edmonds; brother, Lowell Phillip Edmonds; and his great-grandson, Christian Drake Sanders.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Dianne Edmonds; daughter, Dana Edmonds Newman (Tony); sons, Phillip Douglas Edmonds (Tina) and Michael Lee Edmonds (Katrina); brother, Lawson Curtis Edmonds (Shannon); 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
