Evelyn "Sally" Hooper, age 89, of Coaling, Ala., died October 12, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Victor Hutchins officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Hooper; son, Billy Hooper; and daughter, Sissy Barrett.
Survivors will be her daughter, Sue Clark (Vandy Clark, Jr.); sister, Cleo Honeycutt of Fort White, Fla.; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Sally was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She loved everyone she met and never had an unkind word. She always saw the best in everyone.
Sally was a firm believer in our Lord and prayed daily that her family and friends would accept Him as their Savior.
Pallbearers will be Dawson Herron, Dalton Honeycutt, Chris Hill, Chandler Hill, Danny Barrett and Daniel Green.
