Gerald Malone, age 83, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Heritage Health and Rehab. Gerald was born September 15, 1938 to the late Joe Clarence Malone and Corrine Malone. He was Retired from the Railroad, having worked for the GM&O and ICG Railroads, a career which he enjoyed immensely. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and attended for as long as his health permitted. Mr. Malone was a devoted family man, he loved his family and was a wonderful father, grandfather and brother.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Memory Hill Gardens Garden of the Last Supper, 2200 Skyland Blvd. E., Tuscaloosa, AL.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his wife Shelby Wilson Malone, and one brother Joe C. Malone. He is survived by his daughter: Kimberly Hagler and her husband Mike Hagler; grandsons: Blake Hagler and his wife Ashley, Brandon Hagler; step daughter Cherri Leys and her husband Joe Leys; step grandson Addam Leys and his wife Lara Leys; step granddaughter Olivia Castillo and her husband Gregorio Castillo; and two sisters: Madeline Grayson and Betty Sue Smith.
