

COALING | Jeanette Weaver Marchant, age 77, of Coaling, Ala., died October 18, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Cullen Williams and Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Coaling Cemetery with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Marchant; son, W. Scott Marchant; granddaughter, Mary Ashton Marchant; parents, Festus and Lola Weaver; sister, Earline Dailey; brothers, Jack, Homer, and J.C. Weaver; and half-sister, Esula Sewell.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Marchant Stanley (Greg); five grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; sisters, Mabel Tilley Flowers (James) and Betty Jean Weaver; brothers, G.F. Weaver, Jr. (Earvine), James Weaver and Marshall Weaver (Jane).
Jeanette was from a large family and married into a large Marchant family. She leaves behind many nephews, nieces relatives and friends. Many new acquaintances called her "Blue Eyes'', she had remarkable pale blue eyes.
Honorary pallbearers are the Vance Jr. High class of 1954, Morning Pointe residents and staff, Hospice of West Alabama and the many doctors, nurses and staff that cared for her over the last year.
