Jody Stephen Bush, age 42, of Bessemer, died Oct. 18, 2010, at home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Bart Thau of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth T. Glass.
Survivors include his son, Stephen (Windham) Bush; his brother, Chris Bush; his father, Danny Ray Bush; and grandparents, Nellie R. and Alex M. Thompson.
Jody was born in Biloxi, Miss. on November 17, 1967. Jody lived in Montgomery and then moved to the Birmingham area in 2006. His favorite hobbies included photography, fishing, auto racing, and football. He was a loving father and a good friend to many.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Schofield, Daniel Maguire, Don Walton, Jon Schofield, Larry Thompson, and Bobby Glass.
