NORTHPORT – Juanell McCracken, age 91, passed away August 29, 2021 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Strickland and David Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Ms. McCracken was preceded in death by her husband, Billy McCracken; parents, Estelle and John Strickland; brothers, Billy Okley and Richard “Buck” Strickland; and sister, Louise Hoots.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Dorough; grandchildren, Jennifer Irvin (Wayne) and Sam “Bo” Dorough (Megan); great-grandchildren, Cody Graves, Cayden Irvin, Caleb Irvin, Chad Irvin, and Kylie Dorough; and great-great-grandchild, Dawson Graves.
Pallbearers will be David Strickland, Keith Strickland, Craig Strickland, Stan McCracken, Steve McCracken, and Chris Davis.
Honorary pallbearers are past employees of Adrian’s, employees of Presley’s Wicker Palace, Ruth Bible Class, and friends at Presbyterian Apartments.
