Still missing you. The world was so much better with you in it. I will always Love you.

Happy Birthday Mama. I miss you more than you will ever know. I wish you were here so we could make your favorite cake. Life just don't make sense without you in it. I love you so much.

We had so my fun on Christmas 2019. I didn't know it would be your last Christmas. I love you and miss you so much.

I miss you more everyday. I miss the sound of you sneaking around at night getting you a snack. Charles misses teasing you everyday. Amber ,Emily, Robbie and Matthew miss seeing you and talking to you. I don't know what to do without you.  One day I will see you again. Halloween is around the corner. One of my favorite memories of you is dressing you up like a witch and you scaring all those trick or treaters at Grandaddy's house. You had so much fun. I miss your laugh the most. 

It's been a year. I still miss Lynn. it seems like she is still around sometimes. Especially in my dreams.  I still look at her text messages with all the emojis Ha Ha.

Some precious memories of my Mom...

When we went out to go get Taco Casa and bring it back to watch Animal Planet together.  We laughed and we giggled as we watched the adorable animals playing and having fun.

When we listened to music and painted with watercolors.

When she was laughing at Doug’s jokes. 

I deeply loved my Mom and I will continue to cherish all the sweet and wonderful memories I have of her.

Her beauty, strength, and endurance will forever amaze me...

My favorite memory of my Granny was when she would ask me what I was drawing. I would tell her and she would always say it was really good no matter how bad the drawing was and her complements helped me not feel bad for how low my artistic skill was back then. Then we would go on about a conversation on the topic for about an hour or swap to reading memes since they made us laugh. My granny was a really fun person to be around and I love and miss her.

My favorite memory of Granny was she use to make me laugh with her jokes and stories. She also loved me no matter what.  She would also laugh at all my jokes. I love her and miss her very much.

When I was little, I had an aversion to red sauces. I remember she used to bribe me with Chex Mix and the movie, "The Mask," to get me to eat ravioli and spaghetti when she would babysit me and my older brother Matthew. Still to this day I eat Chex Mix every time I watch that movie. I love her and I miss our late night scientific discussions and binging of the show, "Scrubs." 

Lynn absolutely Loved emojis. She would send a ton of them every time she texted me. One of the last texts she sent was saying she Loved me and Mitt(Mitchell) and Buster the cat. and good night to us all listing the names. Then she said Oh yea! and John boy we can't forget John Boy! With of course a lot of emojis behind it. I really wish I had some emojis now.

My favorite memory of my mom was when Matthew was a baby ,we dressed her as a witch and she sat on our porch with a bowl of candy. She would sit so still the kids thought she was a decoration. So when she would move to hand them candy she literally scared them. A couple of them screamed and ran. She also loved a sneaky snack, her favorite snack was a simple mcdonald's apple pie. She was very sweet and sassy. Had a fun sense of humor. I miss her and love  her so much. She was a fun Granny as she liked to be called to my children. My husband Charles loved her dearly and enjoyed teasing her daily! 

Memorial Service

Survivors include her daughters, Tanya Brown Thomas (Charles Erickson), Tiffany Hayes (Doug) and Christy Michelle Porter; sister, Penny Clements (Mitchell); grandchildren, Desmond Martin, Jr., Matthew Hamilton, Amber Thomas, Emily Clare Erickson, and Charles “Robbie” Erickson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
