Millennium Baptist Church and I were clients of Julie. Since the very first day about 5 years ago, she has been our account rep. She was a wonderful, caring, compassionate, joyful and an exceptional professional pin all our interactions. I thought of her as a friend. It's brought me and our church group great sadness to hear of her sickness and loss. But I find joy knowing she's with our Lord. May God continue to bless her biological and work families and friends.

Sis has been my Steel Magnolia, my rock, since she was 3 years old. A neighborhood bully had hit me in the head with the seat of a swing at our apartment complex, She kicked the little bastard in the shin with her very heavy Buster Brown shoes, knocked him to the ground and warned him to "leave my Beah (Bill) alone!!!"
She was my comfort when my 1st wife died, my marijuana incarceration,, my battle with pancreatic cancer, and too many times to mention over the years. I prayed so hard that she would kick this virus in the shin like she did that Bully. She is now in heaven surrounded by our parents.

I am filled with sadness to learn of Julie's death. Although we never met I enjoyed her professional friendship for over ten years. She was helpful, kind-hearted, fun, professional , sweet natured ... I could go on and on with only good and positive comments. The world needs more "Julie's". She will indeed be greatly missed. Sending prayers for comfort, and my sympathy to her family.

To the family of Ms. Julie,

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the entire family on the loss of Ms. Julie. My name is Carmen Davis and I am the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Prairie State College. I have worked with Ms. Julie for more than 11 years, and before I joined the college, Ms. Julie worked with my predecessor for more than 10 years.

We never met face-to-face but our telephone conversations were always pleasant and I could tell she genuinely loved and cared for others. We would often chat about family and share funny stories of cats. She was the best account representative I have ever worked with. She had the "inside" scoop because she always knew when to call me to reorder plaques and other items. We would laugh about her impeccable timing and I even asked her to share her secret. Her response would be, "When you love what you do, you know what your customers need." Well, she knew each and every time and I am so blessed to have worked with her for many years. She called me one time and could not get me because my father had passed away and I was out of the office. When I returned to the office, I reached out to her and she asked me was I okay and did I need to chat. I shared the news of my father and she immediately showered me with kindness and love via telephone. I can only imagine the impact she made on others face-to-face.

I know Ms. Julie is at peace, resting with God, and I pray that the family finds comfort in knowing that she loved and cared for all of you.

May God Our Father be your Lord and Protector, May Jesus the Son be your Savior, and May the Holy Spirit be your Comforter. Sleep well, Ms. Julie, sleep well.
