Linda Griffin Lewis

Linda Griffin Lewis, 74, passed away on March 24, 2022, at her residence. A Graveside Funeral Service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 05, 2022 at 10:00AM from Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of the Christus, Tuscaloosa, AL. Services will be under the direction of Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.

Ms. Lewis was born March 12, 1948 to the late Edward Louis and Rosa Griffin. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a caring sister. She had a strong faith and was a Child of God. Linda expressed her lover through thoughtful and generous giving of her time and resources to those she loved. She delighted in her grandchildren, and enjoyed singing and being active in the choir at Hunter Street Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife to her husband, of 50 years, Larry, who went to be with the Lord over a year ago. All those close to her knew and felt her love. Linda was loved by many and will be missed so much.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Willard Larry Lewis. She is survived by her daughters, Sonya Lewis of McCalla and Daphne Harding-Smith of Hoover; grandchildren: Lauren Harding-Smith, William Harding-Smith and Caedman Harding-Smith; sister Carolyn Taranto and brother Tom Griffin.
