Lisa Williams Foster

Lisa Williams Foster, age 64 of Coaling, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Audrey Dollar, Barbara Knight, Johnny Knight, and James David Bonner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, James Earl and Martha Miller Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Keith Foster; daughter, Cristal Ballenger (Jason); sons, Todd

Johnson (Krista), Cole Foster (Mallory), Zach Foster (Megan), Phillip Foster (Laura); grandchildren,

Will Townsend, Beckham Johnson, Kate Johnson, Finn Johnson, Fitz Foster, Mary Elle Foster, Maddie Foster, Silas Foster, Wells Foster. Lisa was born June 11, 1961, in Dothan, Alabama. She was a graduate of Northview High School Class of 1979. She worked at the University of Alabama for 20 years until her retirement. Lisa married the love of her life, Brian, on June 7, 1996. She loved the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Also, Hillcrest High School football team was dear to her heart because her

grandson, Will, is an assistant football coach. She was a member of the Coaling Methodist Church.

Lisa fought her battle with cancer with grace and her strong spirit. A special thank you to Dr. Wang, Marissa, and Jennifer of Alabama Oncology, and Amber and Courtney of Pro Health Hospice.
