Louise Tunstall Wehausen Turner, 58, of Tuscaloosa died February 13, 2011. Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 3 PM at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Bendall officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home and Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
Louise was preceded in death by both her parents and survived by her husband, Randall Turner of Tuscaloosa, her daughter, Rachel Turner of Northport, her sister, Ellen Grimes (Terry) of Orlando, Florida, her brother, Mark Wehausen (Lynn) of Dandridge, Tennessee, and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Blewitt.
Louise was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and lived there until 1970 when she moved to Tuscaloosa. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandma, as well as an accomplished seamstress. Being an avid Blues fan, she was a founding member of the Tuscaloosa Chapter of the Alabama Blues Society. She will be deeply missed for her unique sense of humor and famous chocolate birthday cakes.
