Louise Griffin Walker

TUSCALOOSA - Louise Griffin Walker, age 94, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., passed away April 25, 2018 at home. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Curtis Kelley and Rev. Ricky Culp officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.T. Griffin; husband, Lenwood A. Walker, Sr.; three sisters, three brothers, sons-in-law, Horace Williams and James Sullivan; and one great-great-grandchild.

Survivors include her daughters, Martha Sullivan, Bonnie Spencer (J.D.), Linda Williams and Betty Culp (Howard); son, Lenwood A. Walker, Jr.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She loved the Lord. She also loved to travel, sew and spend time with her family. She was a member of Taylorville Baptist Church for 36 years. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Taylorville Baptist Church, wonderful neighbors, members of Unity Baptist Church, Sheila and Matthew Tierce, Carolyn and Ray Lowery, Geniva House and Geraldine Matherson.
