Marine Abston Snider, age 91, of Coaling, died April 6, 2017, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. today, April 8, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Todd Burkhalter officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband, Revice H. Snider and sister, Lowell A. Craft.Survivors include her daughter, Debbie S. Burkhalter; son, Carol R. Snider (Nancy); brother-in-law, Daniel J. Snider (Willie); grandchildren, Tommy Rogers (Stephanie), Tammy Blackerby (Jeff), Kim Gregory, Amy Britton, Lorrie Hallman (Chris) and Cassie Britton; great-grandchildren, Josh Blackerby, Garrett Rogers, Grant Rogers, Ashlyn Hallman, Austyn Hallman and Ella Grace Blackerby; and great-great-grandchildren, Mason Blackerby and Presley Blackerby.Marine Abston Snider, age 91, of Coaling, Ala., was born January 26, 1926 to Eschol E.. Abston and Flossie Linebarger Abston. She was a member of Coaling Baptist Church, a retired school bus driver and a former member of the Tuscaloosa Genealogical Society. She researched family history for over 35 years. She loved her family, church and Gospel music.Pallbearers will be Tommy Rogers, Garrett Rogers, Grant Rogers, Jeff Blackerby, Josh Blackerby, Chris Hallman and Austyn Hallman.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ross Vaughn, employees of Amedisys Hospice, members of Coaling Baptist Church, Brenda Livingston, Lee A. Hall and nephews and nieces.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be sent to Coaling Baptist Church Building Fund.
