A Celebration of Life will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, located at 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, on December 17, 2025, starting at 2:30 pm with Rev. Johnny Nixon officiating.

The final resting place for Mary Lou Christian will be Memory Hill Gardens, situated at 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa.

Mrs. Christian was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas and Annie Elizabeth Payne Earnest; sister, Jimmie Ann Elchos Shaw; and granddaughter, Melissa Ann Christian Marson.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde M. Christian of Northport, Ala.; daughters, Karen Colburn (Randy) of Ralph, Ala. and Kim Mitchell (Marshall) of Ralph, Ala.; son, Ronald M. Christian (Gloria) of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Andrew Christian (Jean), Ray Bartlett (Amy), Joseph Bartlett (Ashton), Kevin Colburn, Matthew Colburn (Hollie), Trent Colburn, and Sescily McCloud (Hunter).

Pallbearers will be Ray Bartlett, Joseph Bartlett, Trent Colburn, Matthew Colburn, Hunter McCloud and Andrew Christian.

Honorary pallbearers are Rosemary Turner, Heather Harcrow, Sally Latham, members of Northport Baptist Church, SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice, Dr. William Keith Debell, Jimmy and Claire Warren, Bob and Marcille Cockrell, and other friends and family.
