Mary Helen Hendrix

DUNCANVILLE – Helen K. Hendrix, age 80, of Duncanville, Ala., died at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Shuttlesworth officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, November 29, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Hendrix.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel Hendrix; daughters, Cathy Morrison (Tim), Sherri Foshee (Keith), Donna Turner (Jeff Hubbard) and Lisa Conway (Jerry); son, John Turner; sister, Dorothy Welty (Gary); brother, Danny Kizziah; grandchildren, Erica Turner, Mindi Abernathy, (Brandon), Brandi Foshee (Clay Bolton), Micheal Brown, Austin Brown, Lane Conway, Baylen Foshee and Jacob Conway; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea Turner, Chloe Turner, Cody Colburn, Brody Abernathy and Tyson Abernathy.

Helen was a very loving, hardworking and giving person who sacrificed everything for her family. She was always ready to go wherever there were events involving her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very happy person and would always be there if you needed her.

She enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with her family. ""Mother"", we will always miss you and you will always be in our hearts. We will see you again one day Mother and we love you LOTS!!!

Pallbearers will be Brandon Abernathy, Micheal Brown, Austin Brown, Clay Bolton, Baylen Foshee, Cody Colburn and Jacob Conway.

Honorary pallbearers are friends and neighbors of Rosedale Community and former employees.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Salvation Army Angel Tree.
