Mary Swiney Reece, age 96, of Northport, Ala., passed away December 29, 2017 at her home. Services will be 2 p.m. today, Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Grey officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and her husband, Lawrence Reece; daughters, Juanita Kimbrell and Fran Pearce; and granddaughter, Kristina Pearce.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas Reece, Lowell Reece (Amanda) and Chris Reece.
She had a lot of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved them all. She loved her church, Five Points Baptist, and all her friends and neighbors. She will be missed.
