

Nathaniel "Todd" West, age 61, of Duncanville, Alabama passed away on July 5, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be at 4 PM on July 13, 2024 at East McFarland Baptist Church with Bro. Ray Hallman officiating.
Todd was preceded in death by his dad, Herman Seale West; mother, Ruby Jacqueline West.
He is survived by his son, Garrett Todd West of Dothan, Alabama and Caleb Ray West of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; sister, Tammy West Schryer (Kip) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; brother, David Seale West (Tina) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; grandchildren, Addy Rae West and Ava Scott West; aunt, Patricia Rackley; uncle, Johnny Hubbard; nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
Todd was raised in Cottondale, Alabama and grew up in Duncanville, Alabama where he lived most of his life. He attended Holt High School and was a graduate of Tuscaloosa Christian School. Over the years, he worked a t Tamko, Mercedes-Benz, Dominion Construction and most recently Apex Civil Construction. One of Todd's greatest times in his life was motocross with his boys. They spent countless hours racing and working on those bikes. Fishing was one of his greatest passions and he was great at it. He could out fish almost anyone. One of his most favorite places was the pond across the street from his house. He would stay there for hours feeding the fish. He was an avid Alabama football fan, loved Nascar and he loved to listen to music. If you ever went by his house, you would find him outside on the back patio listening to his music. Todd was a simple man who loved life. He would do absolutely anything for anyone. Those that knew him, loved him and he will be missed by so many. Even though our hearts are broken, we all know he is at peace in his heavenly home.
Honorary pallbearers are Michael Hoggle, Andrew Dockery, Barry Rackley, Paul Dockery, Jarrod Rice, Jeff West, Michael "Mayberry" Mayweather, Caleb "Ace" Frierson and Scott Tingle.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Duncanville Baptist Church Building Fund.
