A funeral service for Peggy will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
Peggy will be laid to rest in Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of Devotion, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
During her working career, Peggy worked for several of the Tuscaloosa County Funeral Homes. She also worked for the Tuscaloosa Chamber of Commerce and then retired from Tanner and Guin, LLC. She loved watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Pot” Miles; son, Curtis Gene Freeman; parents, Silas and Louise Waldrop; and brothers, Laddie Waldrop and Rudy Waldrop. Ms. Miles is survived by her son, Ronnie B. Freeman (Jan); daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Freeman; grandchildren, Angie Stevens (Mitch), Steven Freeman, Lori Duffey (Dustin “D.J.”) , Jamey Freeman (Rachel); and seven great-grandchildren.
