

He was preceded in death by his father, Burton Beck, mother, Laurene Beck; brothers T.H. Beck, J.B. Beck, Charles Beck; sisters Elura Brewer, Mary Howard and Viola Yaw.
Richard is survived by his wife Mary Beck, daughter, Cheryl Farley (Toby); sons, Richard Beck (Regina), Anthony Beck (Donna), sister, Martha Skelton, grandchildren, JoLee Smith, Burton Beck, Brad Hathcock, Brandy Tilley, Sha Hambright, Sarah Cox, Jacob Farley, Rachel Farley, 15 great-grandchildren, 17 nieces and nephews.
Richard Beck Sr. left his earthly home January 17, 2024 and went to his heavenly home. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age. He was a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa County. Richard was a lifelong fisherman, hunter, loved the great outdoors, and spending time with his family. Richard was a veteran of the Korean War and worked as a painter for most of his life.
Richard was loved by many, he never met a stranger and will be dearly missed.
