TUSCALOOSA – Richard Thomas Earnest, age 90, of Tuscaloosa, died October 11, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Earnest; son, Ricky Earnest (Sally) and Randy Earnest (Beckie); step daughter, Cindy Jones; step son, Danny Powell; sisters, Eva Nell Davis, Jean Bagwell, Audrey Alexander and Mary Lou Smith; brother, Paul Earnest (Mary); ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He was a loving husband and father. He was a hardworking man.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
