Roland Styers

Roland Styers, age 95, of Northport, died September 5, 2018, in Tuscaloosa. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Mary An Wilson officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremation, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gertrude Styers; brothers, John, Herman and Doc; and sister, Lou.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia May Styers of Northport; daughters, Glenda Wickstorm of Birmingham and Sherry Holbrook of Cottondale; sons, Roland R. Styers of Cottondale and Tommy and Cliffer Styers of Gary, Ind.; sister, Earnest Mae Spencer of Northport; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearer is Hospice of West Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
