

TUSCALOOSA - Rondle "Ron" Ryan Lawrence, age 49, of Tuscaloosa, passed away on August 20, 2016. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Heritage Chapel with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., prior to the funeral at Heritage Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his daddy, O. D. Lawrence, and grandparents, Claude and Jennie Ryan and Odie and Ruby Lawrence.
He is survived by his mother, Lois Ryan Lawrence; his beloved sister, Jan Yaw (Bobby); brothers, Barry Lawrence (Kim) and Mark Lawrence (Regina); three nieces, Kristi Jayne (Jason), Ashley Kirkland (Jonathan), and Traci Lawrence; two nephews, Jeremy Lawrence and Cody Lawrence; three great-nephews, Brylan Jayne, Kyler Jayne and Paxton Kirkland; and a great-niece, Lexi Kate Kirkland. Other survivors include aunts, uncles, many loving cousins and special family friend, Faye Hubbard.
Ron was born on December 8, 1966, in Tuscaloosa. He was a member of Holt Baptist Church and a graduate of Hillcrest High School, class of 1985. Ron was an 18 year employee of Phifer Wire Products. Music was not only a talent, but a passion in his life. He especially |oved singing and listening to Bill Gaither songs and both gospel and country music. His favorite hobbies were swimming, bowling, and being an avid Alabama baseball and football fan.
Pallbearers will be his cousins, Steve Terry, Dave Ryan, Tommy Colvin, Scott Ryan, Charlie Watts, Ryan Colvin and nephews, Jeremy Lawrence, Cody Lawrence, Jason Jayne, Jonathan Kirkland, Brylan Jayne and Kyler Jayne.
Honorary pallbearers are DCH Regional Medical Center TSICU physicians and staff. The wonderful nurses cared, supported and loved Ron and our family during his last days, Holt Baptist Church members and extended family and a host of close friends.
We will miss Ron dearly, and he will remain in our hearts daily. Now Ron has taken God's hand and is celebrating in heaven with his daddy and other loved ones.
