TUSCALOOSA | Russell Raymond Mayerle, age 84, of Tuscaloosa, died July 18, 2015, at Heritage Heath Care & Rehabilitation. A memorial service will be 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Kenn Spencer officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Mayerle; wife, Janet Godejatin Mayerle; parents, Christian and Mildred Mayerle; and brother, Richard C. Mayerle.Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Mayerle of Tuscaloosa; daughters, Linda Caryn Ryder (Harry), Beth Janet Kane (Curt), and Jolene Stanford (Ronnie); grandchildren, Nicholas, Jason and Christopher Ryder, Brandon (Mandy), Mark (Leslie) and Danny (Lily) Kane, Jaclee Watanabe (Frank), Melissa Maltby (Ryan), John Williamson, Michael Mayerle and Jason Stanford; and great-grandchildren, Blaes, Braun, Mennona Kane, Dezmond Kane, Jack and Andy Watanabe, and Merritt and Scarlett Maltby.Russell was born in Chicago, Ill., December, 17, 1930; he served in the Air National Guard during the Korean War.
