Ruth Gregory Sullivan

Ruth Gregory Sullivan, age 81, of Tuscaloosa, died Nov. 11, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Jared Case officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Monday one hour prior to services at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Van B. Gregory; her mother, Ruby Odell Gregory; and her brothers, Bobby Gregory, Denver Gregory, and Billy Gregory.

Survivors include her husband, Sam W. Sullivan of Tuscaloosa; her son, Sammy W. Sullivan, Jr. (Carolyn) of Northport; her sisters, Betty Payne (Carroll) and Peggy Boatner (James) of Akron and Delores Daniels of Hanover Park, Ill.; her brother, Johnny Ray Gregory (Johnnie Ruth) of Brookwood; her grandchildren, Heather Dramer (Mike) of Helena and Todd Sullivan (Aleetha) of Cottondale; and her great-grandchildren, Mary Morgan Dramer, Mattingly Dramer, and Logan Dramer, all of Helena, and Alexandra Sullivan and Audry Sullivan of Cottondale.

Pallbearers will be James Boatner, Eddie Cates, Barry Payne, Jason Gregory, Jack Wayne Parson, and Billy Adams.

Honorary pallbearers are Linda Fisher and employees of Mirror Images Beauty Salon, nurses of 5 North and 6 North at DCH Regional Medical Center, Dr. Sunil Chandra, and friends and neighbors of Sage Hill Drive subdivision.
