Sherrell H. Rucker, age 70, of Moundville, died March 19, 2016. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Wyatt Rhone officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, March 22, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Nellie Hannah; sister, Pat white; and son, Robert Andrew Rucker. Survivors include her husband, Robert B. Rucker of Moundville, Ala. and son, David Alan Rucker of Tuscaloosa, Ala. Pallbearers will be Eric Davis, Pat White, Jay White, John Foree, Meruin Hoggle and Wayne Stone. Honorary pallbearers are Concord Baptist Church members and Stewart Community. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice or to the Andy Rucker Scholarship Fund at the Bank of Moundville.
