Stephen Davidson

TUSCALOOSA Stephen Terrell Davidson, age 60, of Tuscaloosa, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 12 noon today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Noon officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Terrell and Aileen Davidson, and brother, Michael Davidson.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Duncan Davidson; son, Samuel Andrew Davidson; and daughter, Stephanie Tera Davidson, all of Tuscaloosa; sister, Teresa Davidson Burch (Tim) of Northport; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Davidson of Tishomingo, Miss.

Steve was a strong Christian man who gave his entire life to the Lord. He was a very loving family man who held a love of life and humor. He was a devoted husband and father who will be dearly missed.

Pallbearers will be Jim Duncan, Ian Barrett, Jason Stephens, Justin Lambert, Timothy Burch, Christopher Burch, and Anthony Lovelace.

Honorary pallbearers are Cornel and Debbie Woods; Dwight and Cheryl Richardson; Jerry and Jan Smith; Hank and Rita Hollar; Jimmy and Mary Jo Thompson; Kristen Jones Watkins; Kelly Sellers; members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church; employees of Fastenal; faculty and staff of Culverhouse School of Accountancy; Drs. William Hill, Anne Lewis, Scott Fulgham, and Randall Ayers, along with their nurses and staff; DCH ACCU and MICU nursing staff; and Hospice of West Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, The Gideons, or Hospice of West Alabama.
