Tommy Mobley

A visitation for Tommy will be held Friday, September 27, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM, 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405. A burial will occur Friday, September 27, 2019 at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elvie Mobley, and his parents, Tommy Joe and Blanche Mobley.

He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Pacino and Sarah Bell. Grandchildren, Rachel Bolton(Josh), Addison Bolten, Caden Bolton, and Megan Williams(Chase).

Tommy was born June 9, 1938. When He was a young boy, his parents placed him in Partlow due to a nervous condition. In his early twenties, he left there, and started his new life. He overcame the impossible and started working in the maintenance department for Tuscaloosa City Schools. He loved to cut grass and that's how he met his wife, Elvie. The rest was history. They married and lived a long, happy life until she passed away in 1994 from cancer. He loved the meaning of family and God. He also loved his faithful little companion, his dog Abby. At the age of 81, the Lord called him home to be with Elvie.

Pallbearers will be Josh Bolton, Dino Pacino, David Blake, Joe Belcher, Jonathan Davis, Mickey Mitchell, and Charles Blake.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Area Agency on Aging of West Alabama, Lauren Murray, and Wayne Davis.
