NORTHPORT - Wanda Murrell Allen, age 87, passed away April 11, 2022. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Terrell Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilcie "JC" Allen; son, Michael Shane Allen; father, Jessie Steele; and mother, Cora Cole.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Allen Bounds of Picayune, Miss.; son, John Kenneth Allen of Northport, Ala.; and step-sisters, Glenda Thompson and Judy Upton.
Honorary pallbearers are the caregivers of Forrest General Home Health Care, and friends and neighbors of Sunroamers RV Park.
