

Bonnie was born on November 17, 1944 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Orville (Dutch) Wright and Esta Mae (Bessire) Wright joining her two sisters Louise and Linda. They grew up in Murtaugh, Idaho and attended school there. She was taught by her mother Esta Mae Wright and graduated in 1963 from Murtaugh High.
At age 4 she contracted Polio and had to be placed on an Iron Lung at St. Alphonsus in Boise for 4 months. She survived Scarlet Fever the following year with no lasting effects.
During the summers throughout her schooling she had jobs in the bean fields hoeing weeds, mowing lawns, and working for Troy Laundry. She spent 23 years in the Service Department as a Shuttle Driver for Randy Hansen Chevrolet. She loved driving customers and getting to visit with them about their children and families.
August 1966, she married Harry Prough, Jr. and had a daughter Buffy Michelle. They later divorced. In 1972, she married Richard Dauven of Twin Falls. They had a son Rick.
Bonnie loved the outdoors: camping, fishing, taking care of her yard and gardening. She was also known to lend a helping hand to family members with any of their yard work. Bonnie had a helping heart, she enjoyed doing things for others even if it was just a small gesture. She also loved her Rock Creek Community Church family. They had supported her through the years with the illness of her husband and then her battle with cancer. Her favorite past time was to attend school functions of her grandchildren, and traveling for the holidays to visit them. She loved to attend Yard Sales and Estate Sales and was always looking for a good deal or an antique. She had numerous collections, including a large Coca Cola collection. Through her shuttle driving and yard sales she made many lasting friends over the years.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and husband Richard. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Matt) Boring and two grand-daughters, Madison, and Michaela Boring of Texas. Son Rick (Hannah) Dauven daughter Amelia and son Ethan Dauven of Colorado. Sister Louise Drum of Twin Falls and Linda (Frank) Fiscus of Twin Falls. She also leaves behind many relatives and dear friends. Bonnie was a devoted wife, mother and friend and she will be greatly missed.

Memorial service will be held Saturday June 24th at White Mortuary “Chapel by the Park” 136 4th Ave E., in Twin Falls at 11:00 a.m.
