

With gentle loving arms our Heavenly Father looked down and wrapped His arms around Caryl Irene Hoffman and took her home on Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.
She was born February 4, 1953 in Boise, Idaho to Virgil and Clara Hoffman and 16 minutes later her identical twin sister Cheryl Eileen was born.
Caryl lived in Boise until she was 10 years old when the family moved to Burley, Idaho. She graduated from Burley High School in 1971. She went to Bryman School in Salt Lake City, Utah graduating in 1979 as a Medical Receptionist Secretary.
On Caryl’s 8th birthday she was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the gospel all her life. She served as a missionary for the Burley Idaho Stake in 1981 which brought her great joy.
Caryl had many moments of accomplishments throughout her life. She was talented in arts and crafts and she was an amazing poet, writing many poems with some being published.
Her greatest gift was her loving and forgiving heart which was felt by everyone who crossed her path. She had a great love for her nieces and nephews and was a second mother to many of them.
Caryl had great trials in her life but her faith in God always pulled her through.
She had many people who loved her and gave her tender care as she was in and out of nursing homes. In her later life she lived at Bridgeview Estates. She is truly loved and will be missed by so very many.
Caryl is preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, two sisters, Elizabeth Hoffman and Kathy Carlson, one brother, Virgil David Hoffman.
She is survived by her twin sister, Cheryl Eileen Mullin of Twin Falls; 8 nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Caryl Hoffman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the 15th Ward LDS church, 847 Eastland Drive North in Twin Falls with Bishop Mark Lambert conducting. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley.
Services are under the direction of White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
