

She was born in the Swearinger Maternity Home on 4th Avenue East on December 29, 1936, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Ralph and Della Sharp. She had two older brothers, Ralph and David, and two younger sisters, Carol and Marilyn. When she was 6 years old they moved from the family farm to California. At the end of her third grade year the family moved back to a farm in Filer. They enjoyed fishing often while their Dad read on the bank. She had a flower garden in her youth which carried throughout her lifetime.
Juanita had her first date with Raymond Riley Hepworth her freshman year of high school. She attended Filer High School. Juanita was 17 and Ray was 18 when they decided to get married on April 20, 1954, in the Idaho Falls Temple. She worked at a flower shop, a drive-in, and was a clothes shaker at a laundry shop. She worked alongside her husband farming for 50 years until retirement. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed making quilts for all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Juanita held many different positions in her years of church service as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a devoted mother to 5 children.
She is preceded in death by two daughters: Nita Rae Poulton and Lari Lee Goodman, her son in law Kenneth Ray Goodman, her parents Ralph and Della Sharp, her brother David Sharp, and granddaughter Mandy Poulton.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Raymond, daughter Christy (Stewart Mabey), two sons: Donald (Glenda), Ronald (Shala), son-in-law Ross Poulton, brother Ralph Sharp, sister Carol (Ben Hoskins), sister Marilyn Quast, 21 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren and counting.
Family, friends and others touched by Juanita’s love can attend the funeral services held on Friday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kimberly LDS Stake Center presided by Bishop Monte Williams. The family will greet friends at a viewing held Thursday, June 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at White Mortuary “Chapel by the Park” 136 4th Ave E. in Twin Falls.
