

Michael Dwaine Stimpson, loving husband, father, son and friend passed away suddenly on Jan. 25, 2013. He was born on Mar. 26, 1977 in Logan, Utah to Garey and Karen Stimpson. He was always a joy to be around with his contagious smile and fun-loving personality. He made many friends throughout his life with his kindness and understanding of others and his love for nature. To know Michael was to love Michael.
He had an amazing singing voice and loved to play the guitar. He also had a special place in his heart for animals. Michael loved the great outdoors and was an avid hunter all his life. After his graduation from Logan High in 1995 he moved to Twin Falls where he married his best friend and soul mate, Christal Johnson on Aug. 9, 1997. They made a home there and had three beautiful children. Michael was working for the Twin Falls County Assessor's Office at the time of his death.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Garey Stimpson on Sept. 7, 2010. Survived by his wife, Christal; daughters Lillian and Paige, and his son, Kaden. His four legged babies; Duke and Buddy. Also his mother, Karen (Kent) Cardon; Uncle Steven “Buddy”, grandmother Bonnie Fredrickson; his brothers Kevin and Tyler; sisters Tiffany and Holli; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Michael's extended family; Danielle Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Jessica Bethke, Christine and Gene Bruneau, Mike Johnson, Rick and Tami Sharp(child), Kim Clezie(children), Chelsea Haight, Alex Nelsen and Nick Garcia. And to many friends to mention, all of which held a special place in his heart.
A special memorial service is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, 2466 Addison Ave., in Twin Falls, ID.
In lieu of flowers a special benefit fund has been set up with First Federal Bank in the Stimpson Family name. Contributions may be given to funeral chapel staff at the services or dropped off at any First Federal Bank branch.
Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
