

TWIN FALLS | Shane Andrew Chamberlin, 36 of Twin Falls, Idaho, returned home to our loving Father in Heaven on, May 11, 2016 in Gooding, Idaho. Shane was born December 31, 1979 in Dodge City, Kansas, to Dale and Elaine Chamberlin. He graduated from Dodge City High school in 1998 and went on to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) in, Dallas Texas. Upon completion of his mission, he returned to Utah to attend BYU. While there, he met and was sealed to his eternal companion, Karyn Sharp Chamberlin in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on April 27, 2002. He was later accepted into the Physical Therapists' Assistance program at Colby Community College located in Colby, Kansas. He achieved an Associate's of Science with an emphasis in Physical Therapy Assistance. After completion of that program, Shane and the family moved to Twin Falls Idaho, where he started his career at North Canyon Medical Center. He adored all of his patients and his many co-workers. Shane was seriously hoping to be able to retire there. He will be sorely missed. Shane had a love for music in all of its forms. He never missed an opportunity to sing in the choir or play his trombone in the municipal band. Shane was a very active member in the LDS church. He held several different callings in many areas throughout the church. Shane had a steadfast testimony of the Gospel, which was an integral part of the man he was. Of all his accomplishments and titles, Shane was the proudest to be called a husband and a Dada.
Shane is survived by his parents, Dale and Elaine Chamberlin. His in-laws, Tricia and Ron Miner and Gary and Cherie Sharp. His wife Karyn Chamberlin and their six children, Makayla Jayde (13), Andrew Dale (11), Emma Elizabeth (9), Owen Keith (6), Avery Faye (3) and Myra Janet (1) Shane also is survived by siblings Melissa (James) Martineau, Charles (Valerie) Chamberlin, Adrienne (Kevin) Hubbard, Elisha (Greg) Reese and Ashley (Jonny) Lunt. He also had many in-laws from Karyn's family and several adoring nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been set up in Shane's name where funds can be directly deposited into any branch of Banner Bank. Shane's final resting place will be in the Mapleton, UT Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park."
