

Steve Briggs (Warren Steven Briggs) was born Aug. 23, 1956, to June and Warren Briggs of Twin Falls, Idaho. Steve passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 28, at his home after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Diane, mother June, and siblings Vicki Nelson, and Cherri and Mike Briggs. Steve grew up in Twin Falls, working construction for 10 years with his father Warren, and completed his Bachelor's at Boise State University. After University, Steve moved to Arizona where he developed a successful career in technical sales. Steve and Diane retired to Steamboat Springs, CO, in 2005 and in 2009 returned to Idaho. Steve was an avid outdoorsman, expert skier, guitarist and ardent traveler. Steve's favorite world trips included a safari to Africa with his beloved son, Chase. In 2002, Steve returned to Africa and completed the first descent in history of the Lugenda River in remote Mozambique, an epic 600-mile kayak journey through Africa.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, June 3, at the Ascension Episcopal Church in Twin Falls on Eastland Drive. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park with a luncheon following at the church.

Services are under the direction of Lance Cox and the staff at White Mortuary “Chapel by the Park”.
