It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Georgia “Anne” Warren, who left us peacefully on March 4, 2025. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
Anne was born on March 19, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas, and was lovingly adopted by Bertie and George Miller. She was deeply loved and cherished by her parents, who instilled in her a spirit of kindness, resilience, and unwavering faith.
She married Charles Kelly early in life, and together they had three children. Tragically, Charles passed away in an accident in 1973. She began her career at Southern Butane and remained through many ownership changes, retiring from Gas and Supply after over 35 years in the propane industry.
In 1977, she found love again and married JD Warren, who preceded her in death in 2001. Later in life, through the help of DNA ancestry testing, she was joyfully reunited with her birth family, including her sister Jamey Riddle, brother Phillip Perry, and numerous aunts, cousins, and niece. She cherished getting to know them and embraced this newfound connection with open arms and a full heart.
Her greatest joys were spending time with her family, tending to her garden, and celebrating Jesus with Westwood Baptist Church. If she wasn’t with her loved ones, you could find her with a book in hand or watching her favorite TV shows with a bowl of ice cream.
She is survived by her loving family: Daughters: Connie Johnson, Gina Shipman (and son-in-law Joseph Shipman), Pamela McClellan (and son-in-law Mike McClellan) ; Grandchildren: Cody and Megan Johnson, Haleigh and Andrew Shipman, Zachary and Emily McClellan, Moises Salgado, LaTisha Johnson; Great-Grandchild: Phoenix Salgado; “Sister”-in-law: Joan Mitchell and family Birth Sister: Jamey Riddle; Lifelong friend and family member, Gail Tillison and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bertie Miller; her Mother and Father In law, Flaut and Dorothy Kelly; her husbands, Charles E. Kelly and JD Warren; and her birth brother, Phillip Perry.
Services to Celebrate Her Life: Visitation: Wednesday, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM; Funeral Service: Thursday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ron Moore officiating at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home at 12053 State Hwy 64, Tyler, TX 75704
Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful life of Anne Warren. Her love and light will continue to guide us, and she will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
