Ms. Caffey-Funk passed from this life Tuesday August 15th, 2023 at Briarcliff Health Center in Tyler, Tx.
She was born April 24th, 1935 in Hainesville, Tx to the late C.O. Caffey & Ruby Thomas Caffey.
She graduated from Milby High School in Houston, Tx & Barrow Beauty School in Tyler, Tx.
Betty was a homemaker & had a Christian ministry called Special Touch Ministries where she ministered to
people on a one to one basis teaching them how to apply the Word of God to their personal lives.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Eric Funk & siblings Clarence Caffey & Patricia Keene.
Survivors include four sisters & numerous nieces & nephews.
Also a daughter Sherry Pettit & husband Terry of Henderson, Tx & Son Gerard A Funk of Houston, Tx.
Five grandchildren & seven great grandchildren.
