Calvin Temon Jones

After a lengthy illness, Calvin Temon Jones was home surrounded by family when he went home to Jesus on February 3rd, 2022 at the age of 77.

Calvin was born to Temon and Leona Jones on Dec 4, 1944 in Pampa, TX where he grew up. He went on to work in the oil field.

He met and married his sweetheart, Nada Fay Miller, on Feb 24th 1967 and went on to have 2 children.

In addition to being a hard working dedicated and loving family man, Calvin also loved spending time with his family, watching westerns, and playing wahoo. He gave his heart to the lord in 1970 and he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Temon and Leona Jones 5 Brothers Alton and Alfred Lemons, Roy and Royce Jones, and Jim Edgar Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Nada Jones; daughter, Jody Elmore and husband Joe Elmore; son, James Jones and wife Kathy Jones; 9 grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Browning, Elijah Browning, Ethan Jones, Bradly Morris, Joe Elmore Jr, and Maurice Green. Honorary Pallbearer and lifelong friend Kenneth Mason.

A time of visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
