

Cora had many great talents that gave her a wide variety of jobs. Such as a seamstress, working in a coat factory, and one of her greatest passions was being a florist. Cora loved making floral arrangements and owned a wedding/catering business for many years. She also enjoyed quilting. Cora was a member of Light House Church of Liberty City, Texas; after faithful years and dedication to the church, the fellowship hall was named after her and her husband, Clyde. She will be dearly missed by many.
Cora is survived by daughter, Barbara White; grandchildren, Angela (Lee "Buck") Gilchriest, and Shiloh (Jessica) White; great-grandchildren, Dakota (Tonya) Gilchriest, Hannah Gilchriest, Lindee White, Gabriel Gilchriest, Shylee White, Wesleigh White, & Coe White; and great-great-grandchildren, Isaac Gilchriest, and Lorelei Gilchriest.
Cora is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 58 years, Clyde Everett Vance; grandchild, James Robert "Jim" White Jr.; a brother and 3 sisters.
A time of visitation for Cora will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 pm. Officiating the celebration of life is brother Jake Wommer pastor of Lighthouse Church of Liberty City, Texas.
