David was raised in Slayton, Texas and attended and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1977. He married the love of his life Ermemea O. Martinez in 1999 and the couple had 2 children. He was a machine operator at Tyler Pipe where he worked for more than 37 years. In his spare time he enjoyed working in his yard, enjoying time with his grandkids, jamming out to classic rock, fixing up vehicles and loved to party and drink his beer. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving father, grandfather, uncle, giver, provider and a loving husband. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Martinez, grandparents, Ambrosio and Senona Trevino. Father, John H. Martinez, mother Ruby Martinez and sister, Gloria Clark.
David will be truly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
