Debbie was raised in Hurst, Texas and attended and graduated from A&M Commerce in 1973. She had two loving and adoring children Amanda and Justin. She was a court reporter for Smith County Courthouse 321st district court. In her spare time Debbie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working crossword puzzles, being a founding member of Crossbrand Cowboy Church, and loving on her dog, Junior, she also loved being an amazing grandmother that was one of her biggest joys and achievements.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving, caring, thoughtful and big hearted person that would do anything for anyone. She was very intelligent and a fun loving person.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father; Ted Burns and brother Billy Burns.
She is survived by her mom, Mary Burns; daughter, Amanda Walter and husband Eric; son, Justin Green and wife Dianna; grandchildren,Hailey Hostetler, Landon Green, Levi Green and Braxton Walter; cousin, Robin Hunter and special companion Thomas McMillan and the best dog ever Junior.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Colonial nursing home and Enhabit hospice for all their love, support and care they gave their mother.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Enhabit Hospice in their mother's memory.
