Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Nix was born on March 8, 1931 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Thomas Lee & Elsie Emily Willet Farrar and passed away on May 6, 2014 in Tyler. Formerly of Longview, Mrs. Nix lived in Tyler area about 60 years, was a member of Westlake Baptist Church and the Forest Grove Ladies Auxillary.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton Leon Nix of Tyler, son, Roy Nix and wife Vanessa, of Troup; daughters, Linda Smith and husband David, of Fort Worth, Barbara Nix, of Tyler, Donna Best, of Keller, Kathy Wilder and husband John, of Lindale; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Jamie Johnson, of Utah.
Mrs. Nix was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rosemary Green; and grandson, Stephen Epperson Jr.
Pallbearers will be Preston Byrd, Cannon Green, Kevin Nix, Matthew Rains, Christopher Rains & Justin Sherwood.
Visitation will be Thursday 6-8PM at the Funeral Home.
