Services for Elizabeth Ann Hortman Greer, 82 of Tyler, are scheduled for 12 Noon on Monday, July 29, 2024 in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial will be At Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Greer passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 in Tyler. She was born January 11, 1942 in Mineola, Texas to the late James Thomas and Annie Mae Bradshaw Hortman. She graduated from Mineola High School with the Class of 1961. She worked as a hairdresser and also kept children in her home. She also worked as a receptionist. Until retirement. She was a loving wife and aunt and friend to many.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Paul Greer; by a sister, Dona Broome; brother Skip Hortman and wife Pattie; and by nieces and nephews, Connie Wood, Chuck Hortman, James Hortman, III, Jason Broome and Crystal Rainey and by numerous great-and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family request that Memorials donations be made to a charity of one’s own choice in Mrs. Greer’s name.
