After marrying his wife of 35 years, Norma Arroyo Perez, they moved to Florida and eventually moved to Tyler in 2007. He loved road trips with his wife and family and they often ended up at the ocean. He loved spending time watching the sea. Godofredo worked as a plasterer for Chave Plastering in Tyler. He and his family attended the Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife Norma, he is survived by his mother; Apolinar Orozco, children; Deborah Perez, Joanan Perez and Godofredo Perez, Jr., sister’s; Armida Juarez, Jovita Juarez and Laura Juarez. Godofredo is predeceased by his son; Hunter S. Perez.
A time of visitation for Godofredo will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, following the rosary, beginning at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will occur Monday, August 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
