

Hilary Arnold, age 72, of Tyler, passed away in the early afternoon hours of Monday, March 19, 2012 at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. She was born on February 14, 1940 in Chester, England to William Joseph and Sarah (Spencer) Worrall; they preceded her in death. Hilary married Billy Joe Arnold, a military man, in Germany on November 10, 1958 and eventually they settled in Tyler where they raised a family and lived a lifetime of memories until his passing on March 25, 2002. Ms. Arnold was a homemaker and a Jehovah’s Witness. In her free time, Hilary loved to decorate and work on crafts but those who knew her best knew she cherished the time she was able to spend with her family over anything else.
Hilary is survived by one son, John Arnold, and wife Kimberly, of Fort Worth; two daughters, Claire Green, and husband Richard, of Tyler and Leslie Adams, and husband Bobby, of Auburn, NY; grandchildren, Erica Hess, Tabitha Hess, Megan Arnold, Whitney Staples, Stephanie Webster, Alex Rozelle, Mallory Green, Madelyne Arnold, Justin Adams, and Ryan Adams; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jean Muir, Barbara Welsh, Sandra Edwards, and Beryl Shelley, and husband Brian, all of England; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (8942 Hwy 64 E, Tyler, Texas 75707) with Keith Habadank officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, Alex Rozelle, Jonathan Hess, Andrew Hess, Justin Adams, and Ryan Adams. Ms. Arnold will be buried at Tyler Memorial Park at a later date.
