Jackie was born on July 29, 1954 in Dallas, TX to Marvin Earl and Patricia Jean Bristow. She received her degree in nursing from Texas Women’s University in Houston, TX. She was a nurse for over 40 years, with a passion for Labor and Delivery. She was known for her extensive knowledge, quick wit, devilish humor, and caring nature. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and will forever be remembered as strong independent woman, doting mother, and extraordinarily selfless person with a passion for helping others.
Jackie was proceeded in death by her parents Jack and Pat. She is survived by her beloved daughter Sara and beloved son-in-law Derek, granddaughter Elizabeth Jean Nester, and her 5 brothers John(Mary), Herb(Lanita), Howard(Judy), Frank(Lisa), and Billy(Cindy), along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday May 28, 2021 at The Arbor in Tyler, TX at 11:30. Flowers may be sent to The Arbor 2215 Roy Rd, Tyler, TX 75703, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
