Jacqualyn L Lynch

Jacqualyn(Jackie) Louise Lynch, 81, passed away on January 20, 2026 in Tyler, TX. She was born on October 5, 1944 in Dallas, TX to E.V. Sims and Ellen Louise Blocker. Jackie was raised in Denton, TX and graduated from Denton High School in 1962. She married the love of her life, Douglas Howard Lynch in 1974. They raised three daughters together. Jackie worked at Texas Instruments, Compaq, and Banta & RR Donnely, where she retired from in 2007 and moved to their current home on the lake in Tyler, TX. Jackie’s greatest achievement was being a mother, grandmother(Nana), and great grandmother. She also enjoyed teaching sunday school, learning the ukulele, baking and decorating cakes, painting rocks, spending time in fellowship with sisters in Christ, and playing chicken foot and phase 10 with her family. Her friends and family will always remember her as a follower of Christ who loved Jesus dearly. She had a great sense of humor, was a true friend, and loved helping others. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Danny Lee Sims and James Allen Sims; her sister, Cindy Gerethia Williams; and her husband Douglas Howard Lynch. She is survived by her daughters: Belinda Tompkins and husband, Ty of Chandler, TX; Misty Yarotsky and husband Steve of Friendswood, TX; and Laurie Pierrel and husband Nick of Spring, TX; grandchildren: Jaclyn Gentry of Jacksonville, TX; Joshua Parker and fiance Brittany of Magnolia, TX; Paige Duncan of LaPorte, Tx; Wayne Duncan and wife Kat of Rockmart, Ga; Jacobi Holder and husband Colton of Jacksonville, TX; Tricia Yarotsky of Huntsville, TX, Marshall Pierrel of Spring, TX; Madeline Pierrel of Spring, TX; great grandchildren: Emory Gentry, Rylee Junker, Elizabeth Edwards, Parker Holder, Cooper Holder(coming May 2026); brother David Emanuel Sims and wife Jan, brother in law Len Williams, sister in law,  Lynda Eichler of Tyler, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her beloved chihuahua, Trixie
