James Daniel Sheppard, 39, of Tyler, went to be with Jesus on Monday, July 27, 2015 in Tyler. James was born on February 26, 1976 in Tyler to David F. and Brenda G. Sheppard. He graduated from St. Louis School in Tyler. He never met a person that he didn't call a friend, was very forgiving and always had a smile on his face. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and loved to sing.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Joy Sheppard on November 5, 1997 and is survived by his parents, David and Brenda Sheppard of Tyler; brother, John David and Mellanie Sheppard of Hurst; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2015, also at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Ford and Rev. Buddy Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
