Jimmy graduated from China High in China, Texas. He and his love, Dolores, were married on Saturday, February 26, 1955. Jimmy served in the US Marine Corps. Reserve from 1954 - 1961. He was raised as a true cajun. Jimmy didn't speak english until 6 years old. He had several businesses throughout the years, and was well schooled in all aspects of Steel Building Construction. Jimmy loved his wife and family dearly. He was a very generous man that would help anyone that needed it. He was a man of virtue and honor. Jimmy loved cooking and especially loved when he knew company was expected. Jimmy would try to stuff you with gumbo or his fabulous pork roast. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jimmy is survived by daughters, Debi (Steve) Hudnall, Kathy (George) Cosman, and Lisa (Kelly) Smith; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Dolores Guillory; parents, Fred and Anne Guillory; and brothers, Chuck and Floyd Guillory.
A time of visitation for Jimmy will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, September 29, 2022 beginning at 11:00 am, following the graveside service at 12:00 pm at the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Serving as pallbearers are Hudnall Lingle, Kyle Violet, Kelly Smith, Jeffery Johnston, Dustin McGuire and Phillip Morrow.
